Privacy and cookies.

Updated 28 October 2026. This notice covers this website, Dealer Growth enquiries and Marketplace launch signups. The portal and dashboard illustrations contain fictional sample data.

Who handles your information?

Credo Inc Ltd, company number 16013841, is responsible for the personal information collected for our own enquiries and launch mailing list. Our address is 50 to 54 Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 7PQ. Contact hello@forklist.co.uk about your information or this notice.

What we collect and why

Dealer enquiries may include your name, work email, dealership, website and the information you choose to give about your needs. We use this to respond and discuss our services. Our basis is our legitimate interest in answering relevant business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract where applicable.

Marketplace launch signup collects your name, email and any optional business, role or area details. We use your consent to send the launch updates you request. Choosing Marketplace in a chat is not consent to marketing. You can withdraw launch-update consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful use.

Messages you send by email, WhatsApp or chat are used to answer your request. Do not send passwords, verification codes, card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information. This site does not take payments, accept contracts, make hire bookings or operate a live customer portal.

Providers and recipients

Netlify hosts this website and processes technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect it. HighLevel/LeadConnector hosts the optional forms and chat, and stores submitted enquiry and launch-signup records in Credo’s account. Google Workspace handles our email. If you choose WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta also processes information under its own terms and privacy notice. You do not need to use those services to contact us.

Credo’s Stripe account is connected for future service billing, but no Stripe checkout, payment or invoice feed is loaded by this website. Client services will have separately agreed billing and data-processing arrangements.

We use information for the purposes described here and restrict access to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. Providers may process information outside the UK. Their applicable data-processing and transfer terms describe the countries and safeguards involved. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

Provider information: Netlify, HighLevel, Google, and WhatsApp.

Cookies and external services

Optional services are blocked until you choose to allow them. Google Analytics measures website visits with your analytics consent. We use standard page views, strip query strings and fragments from the page location we send, and do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, enquiry contents or chat messages to Google Analytics. Google receives technical information including browser and device information and processes IP addresses as described in its privacy notice.

Meta Pixel is being prepared but is not connected or loaded yet. If enabled, it will require a separate advertising choice before loading. We will update this notice with its use before activation. No advertising campaigns are started by accepting cookies.

HighLevel forms and website chat have separate permission controls. Their providers may use cookies or browser storage and receive connection information when loaded. You can decline and email us instead. Permission to load a form, open chat or select Marketplace is not permission to send marketing.

StoragePurpose and duration
forklist-privacy-v2Essential local storage: remembers choices and their date. Choices are requested again after 180 days.
_ga and _ga_*Google Analytics cookies: distinguish visits after analytics consent, typically up to two years. Browser settings may shorten this.
HighLevel storageOptional forms/chat: provider session and browser storage may vary with the service. Loads only after the relevant choice.

Use in the footer or here to change your choices. Turning off an active service reloads the page and stops it loading again. We also attempt to remove accessible Google and Meta measurement cookies. This does not erase data already sent, records submitted or cookies on a provider’s own domain. You can clear site data in your browser and contact us about your records.

Google Analytics is used on a consent basis. See Google’s privacy notice. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and other websites open those services under their own notices. The choices you make here do not control their websites or apps.

How long we keep information

Our retention policy is to keep ordinary enquiries for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless they become a client relationship or a legal reason requires longer retention. Marketplace launch signups are kept until you withdraw consent, with a review after 24 months to check whether continued retention remains appropriate. Reviews and deletion are managed by our team; the website itself does not automatically delete CRM records.

Where we must retain records for legal obligations or disputes, we limit them to what is needed. We may keep a minimal suppression record to respect a request not to receive marketing. Client contract and accounting records have separately documented retention requirements.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy where the applicable conditions are met. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@forklist.co.uk. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal time limit.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We welcome the opportunity to resolve a concern first.

Client information and future products

Where we handle a dealer’s customer information on that dealer’s behalf, the roles, instructions, authorised access, security, providers, retention and return or deletion arrangements must be agreed before processing starts. Future fleet, transport, AI and marketplace features are not enabled by this website. Their data handling will be explained before they launch.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the service or its data use changes, with the revision date above. Product launch news is shared on Instagram at @forklisthq. Material privacy changes will also be communicated directly where required; Instagram does not replace this notice or required individual communications.
